Humanize the Earth!  

I'm new around here, and not sure what this place is about or what I should tell you about myself.  I've been active at omidyar.net for almost two years.  I went there as a way to stay connected to people after a face to face event, the Giving Conference in Chicago (that's also where I live).  The interface is terrible there and they're not really looking to improve it much, it seems.  Zaadz is much slicker, I can see that right away.  Anyway, what I like about that place is people are actually working to get thing done.  What I see here, so far, is much more emphasis on inner work, personal change.

I'm focused on the connections between that inner, personal work and the outer, work in the world.

Hopefully I'll find a place here as well.
